The OpportunityWe’re looking for a commercially-savvy and self-motivated SeniorAccount Manager who’s equal parts relationship-builder and opportunity-hunter.
This role has an incredible opportunity for career growth, as you’ll be working directly with the Agency Owner to develop knowledge of the agency and our clients, and subsequently take accountability for the net revenue retention rate of the agency.
You’ll be the key driver of client retention, expansion, and proactive sales pipeline growth, ensuring that our best clients stay with us longer and grow their engagement with xGrowth.
You’ll also own new relationships from first touch, stepping in as a trusted point of contact from pre-sale through to renewals.
This role is not about campaign execution or project management.
It’s about owning relationships, leading the commercial conversation to close business from new and existing clients, and ensuring our clients feel like they have a genuine partnership with an agency they can trust.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own and grow a portfolio of B2B tech clients across APAC
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing and sales stakeholders
- Run strategic account check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Annual Account Planning sessions with a strong commercial lens, setting clear growth targets per account
- Facilitate internal reviews of our entire portfolio of clients, alongside delivery and strategy teams to proactively initiate budget conversations and year-ahead planning
- Own client communications post-sale, taking the relationship lead from day one
- Help qualify the right-fit accounts to ensure we’re investing in high-potential, high-profit clients
- Detect upsell/cross-sell opportunities and work with our strategists to propose value-adding solutions
- Act as the internal voice of the client, providing input and feedback on xGrowth’s services and delivery model based on client needs
- Partner closely with our delivery, strategy, and SDR teams to drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
Required Experience
- Absolute minimum 5 years (seeking 10 years) in a marketing agency setting as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, and/or in-house Marketing roles
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Experience working with marketing teams or agencies
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience in growing a book of business
- Comfortable leading client calls and presenting insights or proposals
- Strong commercial instincts, able to balance relationship building with revenue accountability
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders across APAC and managing sensitive budget conversations
Bonus (but not essential)
- Experience with B2B demand gen, enterprise marketing or ABM
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Pipedrive, Apollo, Clay, etc.)
- Worked with global or regional B2B brands with demonstrated account growth to drive increased share of wallet and hit revenue goals
- Work with some of the most innovative B2B tech companies globally
